Neighborhood Walk and Roll

With Mayor Jessika Buell at Oxbow Park (500 Animas View Drive), meeting next to the restrooms.

The City of Durango is piloting a new community engagement program called Neighborhood Walk and Rolls. The goal of Neighborhood Walk and Rolls is to give community members who do not typically participate in more formal council meetings a casual, convenient way to engage with their City Councilors. Walk and rolls are designed to promote short, two-way conversations about issues and successes in neighborhoods around Durango, and do not take the place of Council Office Hours. There will be no formal agenda or presentation. The location and time of walk and and rolls will be based on community needs and requests.

The City is happy to provide an interpreter for anyone who wishes to attend and participate in a language other than English. In order to allow time to book this resource, please email Klancy Nixon at preferably at least three days in advance.
