Starting on Monday July 22, the traffic light at Florida Rd and N. College Dr will be turned off with flagger control and 2-way traffic along Florida Rd to install a new storm drain manhole that will tie into the existing 36” storm drain in Florida Rd. A new 24” storm drain will then extend into and serve N. College Dr from Florida Rd.

The traffic control will change as the work progresses this week, depending on the where heavy equipment and barrels are placed. The overnight set-up will be determined as the work progresses as well but should allow traffic flow on all sides.

The excavation will get larger as work progresses over the next two weeks, which will require one-way traffic along Florida Rd.

Plan for traffic delays and two-way traffic into early next week (week of July 29^th), alternate routes are advised. Updated traffic configurations and alerts will be posted as the project progresses.
